Details

The Korg Wi-Tune is the world's first wireless tuner, allowing you to tune any instrument in any situation. Cable Free Wireless Tuning

Korg's Wi-Tune comes in two parts - a transmitter that attaches to your instrument's strap and a main tuner unit that receives the wireless signal. This can be placed anywhere, within a 5 meter radius, such as on your music stand, for easy viewing and discretion. There are no cables so you don't need to worry about them getting in the way or tangled up.

User Friendly Design

The large, backlit LCD screen offers excellent visibility even in dark performance conditions. Pitch variance and note name are shown in large liquid crystal display and the wireless status and battery power remaining are also clearly shown. The system has been honed for eco-friendly long battery life.

Versatile and Helpful

There are a number of uses and options with the Korg Wi-Tune. The main tuner has a built-in mic so you do have the option to tune without using the transmitter. You can also have the tuner produce an audible reference tone from the internal speaker which you can use to tune by ear or for ear training practice.

Ensemble Playing

Inaccuracies of the harmonies in a triad are particularly easy to notice when played by an ensemble such as a brass band or orchestra. If you slightly adjust the pitch of a major or minor third relative to the equal-tempered interval, a beautiful-sounding pure third can be obtained. The meter scale of the Korg Wi-Tune includes markings to indicate pure major and minor thirds relative to a specified pitch. If you tune your instrument to these markings, you can easily perform beautiful, pure harmonies when playing in an ensemble.
