Key Features
The snapping snare effect produced from the Meinl Artisan Edition Seguiriya Line Cajon is due to the two sets of eight micro-coiled metal strings, which can be adjusted with the included tuning key. These strings are hand wound in the style of master cajon builder, Jos "Pepote" Hern ndez Diaz and respond with the upmost sensitivity. These adjustable strings and an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression gives the Sequiriya Cajon a wide dynamic range of highs and lows.

The pattern on the face plate of the Meinl Seguiriya Line Cajon, including the decorative wood inlay, adds a touch of elegance to the appearance of the Cajon. The 9-Ply, 12mm thick Baltic birch resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth. The sound is incredibly clear due to the pop filter on the sound-hole, which cancels out any unwanted sounds in a live event.
The rounded corners and thumb notches allow for optimal playing comfort and sound. In addition to this, the specially formulated soft rubber feet, which sit at the bottom of the Cajon to prevent it from moving.
