A baltic birch body is combined with a stunning Palo Santo playing surface, which provides a variety of tones.

Unlike your standard Cajon, this slap top version does exactly as the name suggests. The playing surface is closer to the player, providing a unique, upright playing position with forward sound projection. In addition, its upward-facing front port provides deep bass notes, while the beautiful Palo Santo playing surface delivers crisp snare and slap tones. Finally, to achieve that classic snare sound, the Artisan Edition Slaptop Cajon features eight pre-tuned custom micro-coiled steel Cajon strings that span the interior of the playing surface.
