The Mooer MFZ4 is part of Mooer's Micro Series of tiny and compact pedals, that offer dynamic effects, yet don't take up much pedalboard space. With its 2 no-fuss controls, consisting of Volume and Fuzz, the Grey Faze Fuzz offers easy operation but still with a complex sound. The Grey Faze Fuzz is constructed with a Germanium transistor, which delivers those vintage, buzzy tones that are reminiscent of the 60s. The MFZ4 features True Bypass, which preserves the tone by eliminating any signal interference when the pedal is not in use.

Vintage Germanium Transistor

The older, classic and popular fuzz pedals are fitted with Germanium transistors, as they deliver a softer and much smoother effect than more common silicon fuzzes. Germanium fuzz pedals have that familiar 60s sound of Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page, and deliver a warm, vintage and buzzy fuzz effect. Germanium Transistors typically enhance the fuzz's sound with muffled and dark tones, that add a stunning depth to the effect.
