The surprisingly big sound produced by this speaker comes from the efficient amplifier that powers a high fidelity miniature driver, given an extra bass boost by a passive radiator on the bottom. If you place the speaker on a resonant surface such as a desk the sound created will be even bigger.
The PocketBoom XB allows you to stream music from a Bluetooth enabled device wirelessly making the experience easy and simple. No more annoying cables or plugs to contend with. The rechargeable battery gives up to five hours play time at max volume and if no pairing occurs after five minutes the unit enters standby mode to save power.
