The XDJ-AN gives you several ways to build and perform your sets. Play directly from USB storage devices containing rekordbox libraries, connect to rekordbox running on Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android, or browse cloud libraries using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay through a Wi-Fi connection.

The system also supports StreamingDirectPlay, giving access to Apple Music, Beatport, and TIDAL from the browse screen. This flexible approach helps you prepare playlists in advance or access larger music collections when connected to the internet, making the system suitable for home practice, mobile events, and club performances.

The performance layout is built around familiar DJ controls that encourage quick, confident mixing. Each deck provides eight Hot Cues, allowing instant playback from important points in your tracks.

Beat Sync automatically matches tempo and beat position between analysed tracks, while Quantize keeps cues and loops aligned with the beat grid for cleaner performances. Slip mode continues playback silently in the background while you scratch or loop, returning to the correct playback position once the effect ends.
