Thanks to the multiple polar pattern configurations, the KSM44A is suited for a wide variety of performances and recording applications. Designed to deliver a premium vocal performance, the microphone is also capable of providing excellent sound with acoustic and wind instruments, low frequency instruments such as basses, overhead miking and ensembles miking such as choral or orchestral performances.

The Prethos Advanced Preamplifier Technology features incredibly sophisticated and transparent internal circuitry to deliver outstanding audio quality for a truly special overall microphone performance.
