Image Line Sytrus is an extremely versatile and immaculate sounding synthesizer plug-in that delivers everything from gritty basses, clean and euphoric pads to soaring leads. Built around six customisable operators that can function as independent oscillators, Sytrus is capable of producing subtractive, additive, FM and RM synthesis. Sytrus includes three filter modules, each with 13 filter types and five slope settings, allowing you to create anything from bell-like sounds to articulate strings and piano as well as thundering low-basses.


Following the filter envelopes, Sytrus provides you with a wide range of 13 effects including a powerful three-band EQ to sculpt and shape your tone as well as a chorus module, three delay modules and a reverb module. Image Line Sytrus gives you the flexibility and functionality to create and perfect your sound all within the plug-in without ever needing to use external filters, processors or oscillators making it the ideal solution for electronic-based musicians looking for a complete solution.

At the heart of Sytrus is the six user-definable operators that can act as independent oscillators for subtractive synthesis, cross-modulate to create complex FM or RM synthesis as well as the partial harmonic editor to create additive synthesis. There's almost no limit to the sounds and tones you can create with these versatile operators. With this level of flexibility, Sytrus users can enjoy luscious pads, rich and harmonic bells, clean and pristine leads or aggressive and dirty basses. Avid sound designers will be in awe of the quality that Sytrus presents your tones to you, thanks to the x64 oversampling function to ensure maximum audio quality throughout the audio spectrum.

A world of effects and filters

Realise any sound in your head with the plethora of filtering and effects options built into Sytrus. Featuring three independent filters that can be chained together, each offering up to 13 filter types and five slope settings, you can transform any sound imaginable, whether you're looking to subtly shape a sound by filtering highs and lows, or whether you're looking to reshape your tone with a resonant low-pass to add weight and depth to your sound, Sytrus has it all. Additionally included is an integrated waveshaper, allowing you to add an extra layer of distortion and grit to your sound to pop out of the mix.

Once you have established the tone of your synth, shape and sculpt your sound with the 13 onboard effects. Phaser, reverb and three different delay types all follow the filter section, letting you add movement and dynamic to your sound followed by a three-band parametric EQ where you can shape your tone to fit your mix.
