Showcasing what Steinway considers to be the perfect piano, EZKeys immaculately captures the Steinway & Sons B-211. Handpicked for the rich, balanced sound it produces, every aspect of this piano was painstakingly prepared with the utmost care for a truly flawless representation of the piano. From the position in the room to the tuning and microphone placement, even the hardness and softness of the hammers were carefully adjusted to achieve a perfectly balanced and exciting sound.

Using only best-in-class equipment, from Coles-style ribbon microphones to boutique German USM69-style microphones over the hammers, the warmth and natural response along with the pick attack of every note is captured to perfection.

Professionally-created presets curated for every style

Comprised of 12 extensive presets, you can transform the EZKeys Studio Grand piano into an extremely versatile instrument spanning virtually any musical genre or style. Customisable to the requirements of your song, you can adjust the unique effect knobs per preset to tailor your sound to your mix, composition or requirements.

Standard: Default preset which maintains the natural tone of the instrument. EQ and Reverb are provided to tailor the sound to your mix.

Raw Tweaks: No additional processing and gives you access to the individual mechanical noises produced when playing a physical piano.

Grand Rock: Designed to cut through your entire mix whilst maintaining the natural character. Ideal for anything from big rock songs to delicate ballads. Includes EQ, compression, tuning and reverb parameters.

Mellow Chorus: All-around preset designed for anything from rock, ballads, pop or classical.

Warm and Saturated: A deep and warm-sounding preset which includes tape saturation parameters and plate reverb settings.

L.A. Studio: Bright and articulate sound with enhanced attack and is provided with EQ, reverb and chorus parameters.

Boogie Room: Crystal clear and vibey, ideal for classical solo performances.

Dusty: Vintage-inspired tone which throws back to classic blues clubs in mono format with authentic tape hiss.

In the Big Hall: Add depth and space to your sound with a huge hall reverb with controls over the brightness and body to shape the frequency curve of your project.

Space Noir: Send your piano into outer space with exciting vibrato and delay effects.

Atmos: Combines huge stereo enhancement with octaving for a colossal sound that's ideal for heavier rock or blues productions.

Wasteland: A delay and an inverse reverb are the cornerstone of this preset. Controls for delay amount, delay time, reverb and EQ can create spacey and surreal sounds.

Comprised of an extensive and professionally-played MIDI library that's compatible with any sound library, the MIDI covers all major styles from pop, rock and gospel to country and jazz. Each MIDI file has been composed in 8 bars or longer to create full, exciting loops with straight and swing variations in both 4/4 and 6/8 signatures. Ideal for composers, the MIDI library is divided into traditional song compositions with dedicated intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus and bridge variations, allowing you to quickly and easily create the building blocks of your song.

This MIDI library is coupled with the innovative Smart Transpose functionality means that writing songs have never been easier. Transpose any chord and add colour to any chord and drag and drop MIDI with ease. What's more, the User Browser MIDI function lets you transform the MIDI file into a wide variety of different playing styles found in the browser.
