Providing you with only a few key controls, you are awarded the flexibility to customise the performance of your Virtual Guitarist to get realistic results quickly. Four simple Swing, Timing, Feel and Variance parameters let you hone in on the groove to sit within the pocket of your composition with ease. Taking it one step further, Virtual Guitarist Silk also allows you to tweak the Play Position and Fret Noise level for an added layer of realism and depth in your sound.

Virtual Guitarist Silk distils the ability of a world-class session musician down to a selection of 670 characteristics in over 60 playing styles to help you lift your productions to the next level. A wide range of articulations and techniques including arpeggios, patterns and chord riffs have been included to take you from vivid fortissimo style phrases suitable for dance and pop compositions.

Starting with the performance, Virtual Guitarist Silk features a handy position dial that enables you to virtually move the performer's hand between neck and bridge. This small but significant parameter opens up realistic tonality changes such as fret noise to add an extra layer of authenticity to your mix.

Captured in meticulous detail, UJAM Virtual Guitarist Silk has been recorded through five sophisticated microphone and channel strips simultaneously. Distilled down into five positions on the character switch, Silk offers five specifically-selected possibilities of all 25 combinations to ensure you can find the right sound for your mix. Further manipulation of the sound is presented using the mics control, enabling you to select between five of the high-end small-diaphragm microphone combinations.

Outside of selecting the character of the instrument and recording chain, UJAM Virtual Guitarist Silk includes a slew of effects to add ambience and atmosphere to your sound. Reverb, Delay and a one-button Doubling option are all presented to take your sound design to next level. The secret sauce of acoustic guitar sounds, Silk features the proprietary Animate algorithm. This tool has been custom-built for nylon guitar sounds, adding depth, movement and articulation to help your sound cut through dense mixes with ease.
