The Dean Upright Pace Bass 4-String Guitar is ideal for electric bass players who are looking to create that iconic double bass sound. The Pace Bass has a fretless rosewood fingerboard which coupled with the maple neck offers smooth playability and easy navigation of the fingerboard. The rosewood provides rich, soft sound while the maple neck and body bring the brighter and clearer tones. Loaded with a piezo bridge pickup, and pre-amp you are able to amplify the clean piezo and deep double bass tones. The portable shape, tripod and included lightweight case all make it easy to transport between gigs or rehearsals.

Piezo Bridge Pickup

The Dean Pace Bass features a piezo pickup to produce an electric double bass sound with great amplification and opportunity for a wide array of tones, whilst still preserving the raw sound of the instrument, with high output to provide more volume control.

Maple Construction

The Dean Pace Bass has a maple construction, and delivers a bright, clear and defined sound. The maple's brightness is accompanied by the rosewood fingerboard, providing some smoothness to its tone and creating a beautiful double bass performance.

Portable & Lightweight Instrument

The Dean Pace Bass Guitar features a thin body and a small design, which makes it easy to handle and to transport to and from studio sessions and gig nights. With the included lightweight case, you can easily transport the bass to and from gigs, without the worry of damage.
