The Legende series of clarinets combines Buffet Crampon’s finest materials with their most skilled craftsmanship. Whilst respecting the traditional features that give clarinets their classic tones, the Legende instruments have significant advancements to improve performance. The poly-cylindrical bore is designed to produce the most accurate intonation available for a stable tuning. The body is crafted from a natural grenadilla that is reactive to your playing style. This wood produces everything from a bright chime to warm, dark tones. The Legende clarinets’ hardware is silver plated for both long lasting durability and a stunning look. The hardware is also designed with ergonomics in mind, offering a comfortable playability to the advanced musician. Grenadilla Wood Body

Unlike other models, the Legende features an African Blackwood (otherwise known as Grenadilla) body. The benefit from this wood body is the unprecedented tone, which is favoured by all professional musicians and has been the professional choice of wood for decades.
