Founded in 1976 by David Nordschow in Montrose, Minnesota, Eden Amplification built its reputation on a simple principle, total control of sound through total control of design. This earned Eden a devoted following among professional bassists for its clean, uncoloured tone and exceptional build quality.

Eden’s early innovations, including its work on the legendary SWR Goliath cabinet, helped define the modern hi-fidelity bass sound. Its own World Tour amplifiers and D-Series cabinets quickly became studio and stage favourites, prized for their warmth, precision and power. The later Nemesis and Terra Nova lines extended that sound to players seeking professional tone in portable, affordable formats.

After decades of evolution, from its boutique origins in the U.S. to its later years under Marshall Amplification, Eden joined the Gear4music family in 2021, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
