The QSC PLD Amplifier Series

Consisting of three powerful and lightweight 4-channel power amps, QSC's PLD Series delivers high-fidelity power with advanced technology for driving multiple channels of loudspeakers. Sophisticated digital processing with user-friendly operation lets you create the sound you crave with ease.

Representing a revolutionary advancement in amp technology and innovation, the PLD Series has been designed to meet your needs for portable and production sound systems. E-Series Entertainment System

Each of QSC's E Series loudspeakers are designed to deliver incredible sound with any pro-grade power amp. However, if you take advantage of a complete E Series Entertainment System with a GXD/PLD power amp such as the PLD4.5 in this system, or a TouchMix digital mixer, you gain access to a whole new world of performance capabilities and options.

E Series DSP settings have been meticulously designed to maximise the performance of your E Series loudspeakers and come pre-loaded on each PLD amplifier. These tunings support a broad range of situations, including live sound reinforcement, stage monitoring, DJ systems, karaoke and more.

FAST - Flexible Amplifier Summing Technology™

Each PLD amplifier is equipped with FAST™. This powerful technology works by actively distributing the total power from your amp in a variety of combinations. This can be across one, two, three, or all four of your PLD amplifier's outputs. FAST gives you adaptability - whatever your system configuration, drive it with ease, all from a single high-output mono-block.

Advanced system processing

QSC's PLD series combines high-output amplification with sophisticated processing. The DSP in the PLD4.5 can monitor and better-respond to amplifier behaviour, granting incredibly accurate processing of dynamics. The use of both RMS and Peak Limiters allows the amp and your loudspeakers to achieve a higher output without distortion.

The on-board DSP also provides you with four channels of crossover filters, parametric equalisation, and alignment delay. Each PLD amplifier also features Intrinsic Correction™, compensating for any non-linearities within loudspeaker array and horn designs. With a vast range of intelligent built-in processing technology, the PLD series of amplifiers perfectly optimize your loudspeaker system, resulting in outstanding performance every single night.

QSC's legendary loudspeaker reliability

QSC are renowned for their road-ready construction. The E115 features a precision-made multi-angle 15mm 11-ply enclosure with a powder-coated perforated steel grille. Rugged tour-grade textured paint keeps your cabinet looking great night after night. Built to deliver outstanding performance for portable and permanent applications, the E115 and its ultra-robust architecture ensures professional and reliable sound at every single show.

Directivity matched transition

One of the most unique features of the QSC E115 passive speaker is the innovative DMT (Directivity Matched Transition) technology. DMT was developed by QSC to ensure maximum coverage regardless of where you position the speaker. Producing 75° conical coverage, the E115 speaker minimises any wasted audio dispersion and prevents any 'muddy spots' that are often found in complex acoustic environments.

Rich and powerful bass

Designed to deliver thick, chest-pounding low-end, the E118SW is the perfect addition to your E Series PA system. With a low impedance of 4 Ohms, you can drive your subwoofer easily with even the most modest of power amps. With an RMS power capacity of 800W (3200W peak), the E118SW's powerful design is ideal for a huge range of live applications.
